Can you answer Renegade’s question about Coffee?:
My coffee pot is starting to look pretty bad. I thought about putting some lime cleaner in there, but I really don’t want to drink lime cleaner remants in my next cup of coffee. There must be some effective way to clean a coffee pot. Any suggestions?

Coffee Feedback: in Europe the recommendation for things like that is: use denture cleaner
This really helps get rid of coffee or tea stains.
Coffee Feedback: lemon slices/juice salt and ice…swish it around awhile it will come clean…old trick in the restaurant field
Coffee Feedback: white vinegar. run a pot thru 1/2 water 1/2 vinegar just like your going to make coffee just without any coffee. It works perfect.
Edit: I thought you meant the coffee machine.
For just the pot about a half cup of bleach with water. Let sit a few minutes and just rinse well.
Coffee Feedback: use lemon juice, ice and salt let sit for 5 mins and then swirl around for 5 more mins
Coffee Feedback: fill with ice add a little water to make slushy add a small palm-full of salt, and swirl around for about a minute it’s abrasive enough to get out the stain without scratching the glass!!!
Coffee Feedback: I usually run a pot of water and white vinegar to clean the coffee maker and run another pot with clear water and that takes care of the pot . For the carafe or pot it self I put some bleach, dish soap, and warm water, and I let it soak for half hour ,then rinse and it’s sparkly cleaned!
Coffee Feedback: Bleach works great.. just make sure you rinse and wash well after… Use straight bleach and don’t mix with water until your rinsing it..
Coffee Feedback: Bleach
Coffee Feedback: Try CLR or Lime away.
Coffee Feedback: Use Dip-It for coffee pots.
It smells great and is non toxic.
You can find it with the coffee or in the cleaning supply section of the grocery store.
It really does a nice job.
Coffee Feedback: Soak overnight in hot water and some biological washing powder. Rinse well in the morning. Spotless!!!
