Can you answer Dark_Genome 212 2.0’s question about Coffee?:
Don’t have an espresso, can’t buy one at the moment. So I was wondering, would it be much of a difference if I made a latte using regular brewed coffee? I know it won’t be as strong as an espresso, but taste wise will it taste the same?
Oh and at the beginning of the question I meant I don’t have a espresso machine.

Coffee Feedback: No you cant because it is espresso with steamed milk and foam on top. It might taste okay, but I wouldn’t recommend it
Coffee Feedback: It won’t taste the same, but it should taste fine. It just won’t be a “latte”
If you want the richest flavor to start with use a stove top Moka pot or, as an alternate, a French press. A Moka pot is actually how many Italians make their daily espresso. You don’t need a $1000 machine (mine cost $700), I use my Moka pot almost as much as my fancy machine.
Coffee Feedback: It wouldn’t be a latte, nor would it taste like one, however you could make a similar drink, a “cafe au lait” using strong regular coffee and warm milk.
Coffee Feedback: you can make a cafe au lait, which is half coffee and half steamed milk. it’s not quite the same thing, but it’s pretty close.
Coffee Feedback: It will have a different, more subtle taste. If you use a full flavored strong coffee, it should taste good…it just wouldn’t be a latte.
