How many pots of coffee do you get from one pound of coffee?

Answered By Editor

One pound of ground coffee will yield somewhere between 30-90 cups of brewed coffee. Depending on the size of the coffee pot being used, the number of pots of coffee changes. If a 4-cup pot is being used, which is the usual size, a pound of ground coffee will make about 22 pots. The number of pots also depends on whether you use one or two teaspoons of ground coffee. One teaspoon will give a weaker tasting coffee, and 2 teaspoons will make a stronger tasting coffee.
